I guess will be seeing the 1975 tv movie now

This lady and her murder was the subject of a 1975 tv movie called "Who is the Black Dahlia?" starring Lucie Arnaz the daughter of Lucillie Ball and Desi Arnaz.It was kind of spooky at the time that her killer was still unknown.I saw a guy on tv recently,a retired policeman or detective who wrote a book saying his FATHER was the true killer of Elizabeth Short.I don't think he was a hot guest on the talk circuit since many couldn't understand why he would be saying these things about his own father.If its true he's to be comended.Still the fact that she died the way she did is sad.

Steve Hodel is the name of the guy you've seen. He has admitted that most of the story was fabricated, i.e. the conspiracy of the LAPD telling his father to leave the country, that the Chief of Detectives was involved, etc. My grandfather was the Chief of Detectives and the family has confronted him at a book signing. The man is full of crap, just wants his 15 minutes of fame and to make some money.

Thanks! What is with all these liars nowadays?I know-money,attention and or publicity leading to something bigger.I knew this guy's story just didn't make any sense to the point of a book coming out of it.

i would like to see some proof that he admitted his story was fabricated. i'd also like to see some proof your grandfather was the chief of detectives. sounds like you're full of crap yourself.
