Everybody keeps posting about how this movie blows and stuff, but this film hasn't even come out yet. Everyone's reacting to the crappy Ulli Lommel film, and confusing it with Abed's film simply because the Lommel film doesn't have its own page on imdb.

Anyway, check it people. They are TWO totally different movies! The Abed one looks like a quality art film, whereas the Lommel film looks like it's total exploitation doodoo. Also the Lommel film and the big De Palma films are the only ones that have come out. Abed's film is supposed to finally come out next year!

Has this version been released in theatres yet? I really want to see it, but don't know where to look. The release date was supposedly in Jan. Now I find out there is another film entitled "Curse of the Black Dahlia". Blockbuster says they have 3 versions, but I haven't been yet to verify yet. thanks Joel

I think it's playing in limited release. I know it's screening in LA a bunch already. It might be out in theaters a little wider soon too. I found the dvd already through Myspace and on a band's site too. The band is djam karet www.djamkaret.com

I still don't think it's distributed though. It looks like the filmmaker is basically distributing it himself so far.

What brand of crack are you smoking?! This move is awful!!!! Elizabeth Short has been violated over and over again by pretentious film directors like Ramzi Abed. Avoid this "art film" like the plague and save your MONEY!!!

Obama/Biden 2008!
