This movie was ok. I thought the plot was good but it was poorly shot. Especially when the snakethingy was bitting that guys head. It seemed totally fake. Can you hold a live wire like that at the end? Someone told me you couldn't... They could have come up with a way to push it into the water without touching it... that is if you can't touch wires.

I agree, Good Plot.
But the terrible acting and "graphic pasting" film editing took the plot and threw it into the fire.
i was pleasantly surprised. this is the way all low budget creature flicks like this should be like. no one cares about the character's stories, they just want a high death toll with plenty of action (no matter how poorly shot). this movie definetly delivered, it seemed like after every "character" scene, for the most part, it cut to another attack scene. good stuff--though i wished it had better special effects.
shareThe fish themselves were pretty lame but other than that the movie was pretty good. I especially didn't like when the showed them walking, the REALLY looked stupid on land. Chelan (who played Amber) is gold.

Thank you all for your comments. Despite our good intentions in making these movies as entertaining as possible, we are dealing with very small budgets, which accounts for creatures that don't quite measure up to the theatrical creatures seen in such films as Alien, Jaws, and Jurassic Park. For the most part, story always gets trumped by gore. Gore wins out over story and non-violent suspense because these movies are also made for foreign distributors who tell us that story doesn't always translate in other countries. Action and violence does. I'm just glad someone is watching, and talking about it. Makes all the hard work worth it. A.G. Lawrence (writer of Snakehead Terror).
shareCan I just point one thing out to everyone? The low budget and all is why this is a made for tv movie, not a big blockbuster. Sometimes you can only expect so much from a tv movie. Yeah, some of the graphics and all were really bad, but I've seen some other tv movies that look a lot faker than this one.
shareTHis movies is pretty good I liked it its one of my favorites Amber and her friend there hot. I dont care IF this is a TV movie because I just recorded it today on VHS so I can wtch it any time I want thats what I usually do to TV movies that I like this movie is made well, I like it
shareTo loodystar: when you were writing this did you think "this part should make everyone laugh" because I laughed more at this movie than I did for the last 5 "comedies" I've seen put together. I'm not sure if that is the reaction you were going for but hey, I liked the movie because of it.
