Did you guys know...

There's a version dubbed in neutral Spanish for this movie? I discovered it when I was watching it on Netflix and when I turned on the Spanish audio what I heard was not Venezuelan Spanish but some Mexican-sounding neutral dub over the original voices! I'm guessing this was put in place because a lot of Spanish speakers seem to have trouble following Venezuelan Spanish. It goes to show that just because we speak the same language, it doesn't mean we will always understand each other's speech. In fact, as an Ecuadorian, I had trouble understanding the thugs and sometimes the victims when they spoke if I didn't follow the subtitles. To me their speech sounded super fast and the use of their local jargon made it at times incomprehensible. In the "neutral" dub ,it's a lot easier to understand everyone as they seem to speak slower and the Venezuelan slang is eliminated but since I like to see things in their original audio and I don't mind reading subtitles i switched the original audio back on.
