Gordon Alexander

Ok so there's nothing on his imdb link so I thought I should post here instead. Does anyone know of any websites about him? I rented this movie because of Dom Monaghan and the martial arts but I kept watching because of Gordon Alexander. I don't know why people are saying the fight scenes were bad because there were times when my jaw dropped during some of his fights.

BTW does anyone think that he kind of looks like Heath Ledger?

"Right... Where are we going?"

Gordon is a very talented martial artist and actor, and I've had the pleasure of working with him twice. He co-starred in my short film Pure Vengeance, where he was excellent as the lead villain and had a great final fight with the hero Scott Adkins, and he also coordinated osme of the fight action for my first feature film Left For Dead. Gordon is very professional and has an excellent sense of humour. My personal opinion is that he was highly underused in Purifiers, as were other very talented performers like Silvio Simac, Cecily Fay, Brendan Carr and Chris Jones. Just my opinion of course, I was glad to see them all in the same project. Hope that is of help to you.

Kind regards

ross-boyask, if you really know Gordon, you should tell him to work on his IMDb profile. Since he has less biography & stuff than co-stars of a film he supposedly starred in, it looks like they just hired someone off the street for his role. While the other people look like seasoned actors.

Ross is the director of the martial arts action film Left for Dead. I think Gordon's in that too but I could be wrong and am too lazy to look.

Hey guys, after finding out about the long awaited UK release of The Purifiers i phoned Gordon earlier to talk about it, And during the conversation he happened to mention that he needs to update his IMDB as it goes, Ther is a good reson why its not updated properly and this is becuase while he has been making movies people have been crediting him by his REAL NAME, and not his STAGE NAME, so i am sure he will have sorted it all out soon, On that note as well you guys should keep your ears and eyes peeled, he has just played the lead Actor in a few full feature movies and is doing quite well for himself.
Yeah the movie may not have been whwta we all thought it was going to be at the time, BUT, you have to blame this more on the Director and NOT the Actors after all we dont cast ourselves for movies, so if the Director along with the Casting Director makes a bad choice then that isnt our faults, doesnt make anyone on the movie a bad Actor, Yes the story line sucked, yes it was a Rip off from the warriors and to be honest neither myself, gordon or any other of the Actors in the movie care, becuase when we finish a film we just move on to thenext thimg and use any mistakes we made in the last film to better ourselves.
Oh and one more thing, the purifiers actually done really well in the USA and that is the reason it FINALLY 3 years on got a dd release over here in the UK, and yes the reason it done so well was becuase Dominic monaghan was in it nd he was just in LOST.
Also one other thing that bothers me, the movie was FILMED in SCOTLAND, not SET THERE, so why all the jokes about it being a scottish martial arts movie, it was also shot half in MILTON KEYNES, I mean for god sakes allot of huge budget hollywood movies are set in Pinewood and shepperton studios, but when watching them you dont sit there and say oh my god its a story about a space marine killing aliens, but what a joke its not set in space its set in a film studio oh my god i cant believe it a marine killing aliens in the english countryside. DUH.
The only thing Scottish about the movie was a few of the locations and the DIRECTOR RICHARD JOBSON who should really be the one getting slated here, infact i just read a review by the daily mirror laying into him adn slating him which was nice to read.
I myself, gordon and All the other actors in THE PURIFERS have moved onto bigger and better things, i still talk to most of them and have even ended up working with some of them since, and often sit at home wathing a movie and see the other actors playing full featured parts.
Otherthan all the above i think allot of the stuff said by people is TRUE, but give the Actor credit watch some more films with them in and then judge them, otherwise lay into the director.
thanks guys

Thanks for the behind the scenes look of what went on with The Purifiers. I'm glad to see you, Gordon and some of your other co-stars got more work after this movie.

Even if The Purifiers doesn't compare favorably to the Warriors, at least the actors get attention for other potential projects.
