CONFUSED

Was it a psychological thing or a possession?

"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb" "What a stupid lamb" "what a sick masochistic lion."

If we try to make any kind of sense of it... it was a possession... i think eve was sort of 'carrying' the gost with her, and that's why she was there when everybody died. At least to me, this is what could explain it all better. But even then, she wasn't whit zoe when she died. AND, the attacks usually started before she even arrived.

The psychological thing is just stupid. So, she's not only crazy but also has super powers?! that she can use but not realize she's using them O_o... The worst thing is that the end of the movie actually makes you think this ('The truth about the nun...') but it doesn't make sense AT ALL.

whatever the case, how the hell does she end up killing herself? This movie is really awfull, from begining to end... oh well, the begining was kind of cool with the nun with super powers xD... but then it just goes from bad to worst. And even then, i would say the movie deseved a 4 out of 10. BUT then the ending came... this 'oh-my-god-i-can't-believe-how-stupid-this-is' end makes me think it doesn't even deserve 1.

sry bout the bad english... xD

I am still wrestling with the answer as well: Was Eve really the one that killing everyone (because she was psycho) and, for some reason, the *movie* showed us all those spooky ghost-nun flying around bits so we would not know the truth till the end? Or, was Eve *possessed* by the Nun and simply used Eve's body to kill everyone, and, for some reason, the *movie* showed us all those spooky ghost-nun bits so we would not know the truth till the end?

Either way it does not make sense, because WE (the audience) are a third party viewer that does not exist in the movie. To show us something entirely different compared to what is happening is just stupid. The Messengers (SPOILER ALERT!!!) did this as well, when the opening scene showed an 'invisible attacker' killing the family, but then you find out that it was really the father.

i reckon eve didnt know she was possesed and saw the nun killing everyone when really, she was doing it. there really are many many questions... because the film doesnt explain. crap film anyway lol... but i did like the scene under the water at the end! TWAS COOL!

seriously. i have no idea what they were thinking when they came up with this ending. the timelines dont fit together. i mean how did she kill the one with the dog so fast? how did she stop the elevator and open the door and start it again WHILE walking into the building? if she had been the one to have done it, she wouldnt have gotten down stairs/out of the elevator so quickly. my dad assumes it was just a quick "we ran out of money" thing and thats why the ending is so horrible. Up until that point, i was actually enjoying the movie. but i think that the ending just killed it. it was such a disappointment.

Yes, that's what I thought too, it's even sorse than the twist in "High tension". She would have find a way to scare the lady into going in the elevator, then found a way to stop, then restart the elevator, then run down to witness the arrival of the cabin… At least it explains the scared look in the victims face, but come on… And why did, in the Scooby-Doo ending, do the whiz kids suddenly understand that Eve is possessed (or something) while he has no bloody buggery hint about what really happened (of course, had he figured it out before, there would be no movie, but nonetheless…) In other words : bollocks. Big, smelly one. It's the kind of movie that drags the horror genre in the gutter. Oh, and New Line should have sued for plagiarism of "Final destination", which at least had its own logic and stuck to it.

And not just the elevator scene, but the one where Susan locks her out, but the nun is inside, so how did she kill her? Magnetically (or magically?) pull Susan to her? And how did she get the glass to cut her head off?

And by the way, how the hell did she shoot herself with that long weapon thing? (Sorry, don't know its name.) I think it's physically impossible... O.o
