When I watched this movie for the first time I noticed that Pete's plan to dispose of princess Minnie and having one of his minions take her place were similar to Ratigan's scheme in "GMD"? Of course, Ratigan used a robot instead of a Beagle-boy.

Well, I just watched it and noticed that as well first time viewing :)
