You kidding?!?! It was great the way they used the classic, familiar operatic melodies and added lyrics to fit the story. The whole film was quite excellent...the kind of good old-fashioned, hand-drawn Disney cartoon that I'm sure does Walt proud. I found it very entertaining.

Clarabelle and Goofy are an adorable couple, haha. (Gawrsh, what if he remarried? What would Max think of that?!) I mean, clearly they just had to select from the Disney gang to fill the roles of "Three Musketeers" characters, so in a way it's not 100% them--they often have to take on slightly different roles from their actual selves, to act out classic tales (e.g., A Christmas Carol, Jack & the Beanstalk, The Prince & the Pauper, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, etc., etc.) Horace Horsecollar and Clara Cluck could have made appearances, but there were no TTM parts perfect for them. Same thing with Donald having to be the cowardly one of the trio--clearly they weren't going to make Mickey Mouse the coward, and Goofy HAD to be the dunce. Donald is still feisty and hot-tempered, but here he's really portrayed as a guy who acts all tough but then wants to turn tail and run at the first sign of any real danger. Definitely a comical role for him.
