Great film and all but Donald??????

What the hell was up with Donald in this???? He's usually the the most tempramental one but in this he's the weakest one! this really bugged me

Hey, I think it fits him. He's pretty weak in the Playstation 2 game "Kingdom Hearts." :D

Well yeah but in Kingdom Hearts II he's much stronger. But it works here since the trio is pretty much underdogs.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that too. For goodness sake Disney, Donald Duck is not, I repeat, NOT a coward.

Don't belive me, check out Lonesome Ghost. Or read the Carl Barks Story Ghost of the Grotto were Donald, in order to save his nephew, goes to war against what he belives to be an invincible ghost with a squirt gun and a mouse (not Mickey, a real mouse).

That's it, fetch my katana, it's butchering time!

yeh, and that short where he says he's not afraid of ghosts (goofy is then, fittingly, the ghost who tries to scare him) granted he DOES freak out at the end... but who wouldn't

I've come to the conclusion after seeing this movie and all the Kingdom Hearts games that Donald has been having long sessions in anger management which has cured him of his temper and his agression, making him somewhat of a milder more timid guy. Now he need a couple of sessions in building up his courage again. And BTW, what happened to Goofy? His name no longer fits him. Obviously he swallowed a lot of smart pills or something! lipe2--Dean; College of Useless Knowledge

Going back to my "Disney" training the answer is simple. Mickey, Donald and Goofy are "Actors" and they are playing roles in the 3 Musketeers. And Donald's "character" requires him to be cowardly.

Yes, but the other characters' personalities are the same ones they've always had. It's weird to change just one.
