About ready to throw Double Dash back to the store!!!

I just got this game and a Gamecube Tuesday, and I'm already hugely pissed at it. Why is it so damn hard to win the first place cup in the 100cc and especially the 150cc races, and why the hell are the silver and bronze cups even on here?!

They serve no purpose. You win them and you get... NOTHING!! You can only unlock the secrets it seems if you win a gold cup in all the levels. Level 50 on all the cups was a breeze to go through. It was like sleepwalking actually.100 was okay, but damn on 150 on what supposedly is the easiest cup(The mushroom) is hard as hell. It's like the characters the computer controls are merciless and ruthless. I don't see how I am ever going to unlock anymore secrets.

I just hope Super Smash Bros Melee isn't as hard and boring as this game.

If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.

I don't get how you thought this game is hard. I already have 3 golds on Mirror Mode and two to go but I haven't played it in awhile. Some advice I can give though, is use the light characters (like Koopa Troopa, BowserJr., etc.) and use carts with good acceleration. I always use Para Troopa and Bowser Jr. with Toad's kart. (That is, if you've unlocked Toad and Toadette.) Yep..the light characters work like a charm.

And yes, I highly reccomend you buy Smash Bros. Melee because it's the best game I have so far. It even says on the cover "Best Seller." And if you've played the original 64 Smash Bros., this one's a whole lot better.

And if you're still having problems with Double Dash, just go on GameFaqs.com

This game is awesome! It's easily one of my favorite video games. Here are my tips for you:

1.) Stay away from the heavyweight characters. These are for skilled "Mario Kart" players only. The middleweights aren't much better, I've always been partial to the lightweights.

2.) Try to unlock Toad/Toadette and the Toad Kart as soon as possible. I would not have been able to beat the game on all levels if not for them.

3.) I always found the hardest set of races to be the 150cc Star Cup race. Get a lot of practice before playing that one.

4.) Rainbow Road is a bitch but the more you play it, the more comfortable you get with it, and before you know it, you won't be falling off the edge every time you turn anymore.

wow, this game is hard for you?

and also games need to have some sort of challenge to it. or else it'd be too easy and then become really boring.

Instead of Kataang or Zutara, how about Katokka?!

Wow, you guys who actually think Double Dash is easy are either gods at this game or you are using Action Replay on it. The game is damn hard!!! Especially 150 CC races!!!

nope i hate using cheats and action replay. i like to play my games to the best of my abilities and double dash was a piece of cake.

there's no real point to play single racer because it's over in like 2 hours and it gets repetitive.
and i'm a loser so i don't have friends to play multiplayer against.
this game just isn't worth playing.

Mario Kart is generally hard until you get used to it. Then you can just rack up 1st place trophies every time.

If the revolution won't be televised I'll probably miss it.
