I still laugh at the 'No gang signs...I'm kidding' line

I don't know why but it always triggers a laugh out loud moment for me when I watch this movie. I don't want it often enough to remember this line, so it always surprises me and gives me a laugh. he says it so serious with no expression and the soldier is genuinely upset for a split second. This film starts so strong. The only weak point is the end.
