"That's how dad did it" ... wait ...

... I swear that I watched this on the big screen and he said:

"That's how God did it, that's how America does it ... "

but I recently watched it on DVD and it goes:

"That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it ... "

Did they change it for the DVD title or did I just miss hear it on the big screen, I swear that it was God the first time because I remember wondering what he meant (a) the plagues of Egypt or (b) the flood. (Also, I'm not religious so I was going by my basic understanding of the Bible.

He said 'Dad'. I would have remembered if he said 'God'.

I watched this movie 3 times when originally released in 2008 and I remember him saying "dad"... but I could be wrong.

It was always "dad."

I'll admit I haven't read the bible in its entirety, but I don't think there's a story where God fired a gun once and never had to fire again.

I could see a change like that being made (the animated series calls Thor the "prince" of thunder rather than God of thunder as he's typically called) but even without any concerns for offending people, "God" in that line doesn't make much sense.

I haven't read the other answers but I guessing out can't state gods words for him.
Also I can't imagine god saying have a abigger weapon than the others or what ever he says
