Forbidden Warrior - The Story (reload the page to view more Forbidden Warrior stills)

Long before written history, a secret clan of sorcerers protected a book of the world's most powerful spells, the Gaia Za. They waited for the Chosen One to arrive who would be able to translate the book and use its power for peace and harmony.

The warlords of the two clans who ruled the continent discover that a child soon to be born to one of the families will be the Chosen One and bring the Gaia Za's power to their clan. Che Khan, ruler of the Khan's, orders the assassination of the newborn baby of the Maraji's.

A powerful sorcerer, Ujis-Aka, saves the baby, Seki, but loses the mother and sends the child to another powerful sorcerer, Ajis-Aka. When Seki reaches adulthood, she has been trained to be a warrior sorceress. Che Khan learns of her existence and sends his sons to capture Seki and obtain the power of the Gaia Za. Seki must now fight to restore peace to the continent.

Looks like Seki is played by Marie Matiko, the totally hot Asian actress who played the "gets naked in Wesley Snipe's Barracuda" United Nations Mandarin translator.

I think I'd rather jab a real pen in my eye than see this film again. It's embarrasingly bad. I can't belive that one comment likened it to Lord of the Rings. I don't know what film he was watching but surely it can't have been Forbidden Warrior.

i dont underatand this film only cost 5 million to make and people compare it too 100 mil films besides it was this guys first time directing. my kids really liked it and i have to say its the first movie that could keep us all interested and there were no scenes that made me or my kids uncomfortable watching it together, unlike 90 % of the other crap out there. lord of the rings ..no,but i did find it more entertaining than Crouching Tiger

reply

more entertaining than crouching tiger? Gah!!! :O

I found crouching tiger far more superior than this, though i guess everyone has different likes and interests...

reply

Come ooooon!

It's bad enough that you encourage bad art, but to show it to your kids and say it's better than Crouching Tiger?? Are you on crazy pills??

reply

I recommend doing so.

If you had only taken that alternative then, then this board woul.d be much the better.

reply

The original script titled "Forbidden Samurai" by Mike Machanska was actually as good as Lord Of the Rings or the early Star Wars film. Too bad this film has hardly anything to do with that reallt cool screenplay.

LMFAOWTOAFJ!!!!!!

I've got to see it now just to see who is right in this argument. They couldn't have come up with a better marketing campaign.

What I am seeing.

"tastes great! ..."
"less filling!! ..."
"tastes great!! ..."
"less filling! ..."

What is actually happening behind the argument.

"C`mon, the kids are eating it up and it's a decent watch with em for once."
"You suck, your kids suck, the movie sucks...oh yeah...you suck."
"Dude just tell the truth...it's not a horrible movie."
"The TRUTH!?! The TRUTH!?! You couldn't handle the truth!"
