COMPARE YUZNA - SPANISH DIRECTORS IN F.F.

Brian Yuzna came to Spain under contract to work for producer Julio Fernández at the Fantastic Factory in Barcelona. Serveral years later he was fired because his films turned out crap and box-office flops. Now Yuzna is going around saying he went to Spain to teach Spanish how to make horror films!! He just made them laugh. Just have a look at some Fantastic Factory films made by Spanish directors at the same time as Yuzna's trash (Balaguero's "Darkness", Plaza's "Second Name" and "Romasanta") or see other films as Amenábar's "The Others" or Bayonas's "El ofanato", both first-rate and excellent. Just see them and compare. Who should teach who?… Yuzna? probably one of the most inefficient film directors you can find in modern horror? That "Society" was probably the only watchable flick he made in 20 years is truly sad for a 'teacher'...

As a fan of European horror films, I agree. Yuzna is a better producer than director, and should stick to producing Stuart Gordon's films.
