For people who complain that APC is too gross!

Let me sum this up for you, it was NOT John K. returning to the show and trying to abuse his power of getting creative freedom, because whilst John K. got more creative freedom than he did at Nickelodeon, Spike TV weren't exactly the perfect network either! They were the ones requesting more adult themes and making the cartoons longer so they have a similar running time to animated sitcoms and so on, and so forth!

Believe me, John K. didn't want to make it as raunchy as the next guy, but it was a way of getting the show back on the air, only to be ridiculed by many fans of the original series, I am not against your opinion, I repeat, I'm not against your opinion, but I just felt as if I had to clear this up!

He also promised that he would make lighter cartoons next time round if he ever got the chance to make any more!

My problem with the series is that it wasn't funny. I loved the original series as a kid but the new show just went out of its way to be unpleasant. There's the Ren Seeks Help episode where it's like a dark comedy with comedy being an after thought. I love movies like Bad Santa and World's Greatest Dad but with Ren & Stimpy, it just didn't work. I remember being super excited 10 years ago but I think they could have done a lot better. It could be as gross as they wanted to make it but with that series, they seem to have forgotten what made the show funny.
