A donkey of a film and atrocious unspooky stories

This is definately the worst ever supposed film I have ever seen. The dialog was wooden with loooooooooong pauses between speaking.

The editors and writers should be shot. I notice some of them big up this film and give it a ten vote cos they all have a stake in this donkey.

Listen up dong dongs, I write stuff fifty times better than this and bo-one should waste their time or money watching it.

Yes MG absolutely right. Did we bump into each other at the Sidewalk?

Anyhoo, here's the outline of a real Venice script.

E me at [email protected] if you want to know more.

"HOMEBOY HELLO"

PITCH: Shakespeare and West Side Story gets wheels in Venice Beach.
SETTING: Skateboarders along the Pacific Ocean. Set in modern times.

GENRE: A romance with tragedy.
SYNOPSIS: There are two rival skateboarding groups in Venice Beach.
Not a normal street gang as such yet both groups vigorously defend their turf and homeboys from others.
One is a Hispanic gang and the other a multiracial mix of black, white and Chinese/Koreans.
The leading skater is a black youth who happens to develop a relationship with a Hispanic girl. Unfortunately, she is the sister of one of the leaders of the rival skate gang.
As in the play ‘Othello’, there is treachery and sowing the seeds of doubt between the two lovers, given a fresh twist in a modern setting.
PAGECOUNT 86 pages.

And I even have proper spooky stuff.....

THERE’S SOMETHING UNDER THE BED"

TAG - LINE: " Tales of the supernatural "

LOGLINE: A group of people sheltering from a violent storm are invited into Mr Levid’s apartment. Whilst drying off, they take it in turns to tell a strange story.

PITCH: A compilation of spooky tales wrapped in another.
SETTING: Any city where the skyscrapers point like fingers into the sky.

GENRE: Mystery/Suspense and Ghost stories.
SYNOPSIS: A doorway becomes a refuge for several people in a sudden violent downpour and storm.
Invited in by one of the apartment dwellers, the storm and then some unusual tales are related.
One tale leads to another, but perhaps the spookiest is the story that wraps them all with the strange man in the apartment
.Along the way is a ghost story that explains numerous fatal car crashes by a soaring freeway onramp.
Another tale set in the Louisiana bayou explains the reasons a family prefer to live in a mosquito infested swamp.
Yet another story relates the horror of a little boy alone in a bedroom hearing noises.
All the stories have a moral dimension and enough philosophy to make a viewer think about the ordinary events that have extraordinary causes.

You know that your description of "Homeboy Hello" is a direct ripoff of 1986's skateboarding film "Thrashin'" starring Josh Brolin?

Thanks Machine, you are right it sounds very similar.

I'd never heard of it but will certainly check it. However my own script is about Ophie a BLACK guy...so a bit of a diff there and is based directly on OTHELLO, by Shakko.

But thanks for the info.....it doesnt seem to be on dvd in my local hollywwod video though..
