I enjoyed this film, and its slow pace wasn't a problem for me. It actually reminded me quite a bit of Gaspar Noe's "I Stand Alone", albeit "Crimson Gold" is a MUCH less graphic movie. To those who liked CG, I would recommend checking out ISA, and vice versa. What do other people think?
shareI too thought this film reminded me of I Stand Alone. And yes, the butcher was far worse off than Hussein the pizza man. Both films are really good. I give I Stand Alone a 9.5 and Crimson Gold a 9.0.

I just finished the flick. It also reminded me of I Stand Alone (by the looks of the cover), but the story is no way near.
