extraordinary!!!

I would have to agree...a true movie painting. Masterpiece.

I totally agree, some people consider it to be confusing, dumb, pretentious, but I think it works very well in portraying a Near Death Experience or NDE, which I fortunately have hadn't, but my mom did after a serious car crash and she felt very identified with how that "dream" plays.

To me it's an underrated masterpiece about the depths of human mind and about how one deals with such a traumatic experience

in my opinion this movie is by far the best representation of a person's dream or sub-conscious (in this case ryan gosling's character as his life slips away)

the fact that rooms change, stairways go on an on, people fade into darkness, people turn into other people, etc. but its all done seamlessly as it happens in dreams. and the characters never question it because of course its all in his mind and its all considered 'normal'.

great film. i could watch it again and again and pick up new things as well i could discuss it over and over.

I have to agree also. I'm going to be thinking about this movie for a very long time.

deeply touching experience.
it was wonderful to feel confused and bewildered during the film,
and so moving to see the resolution...
it kept me awake that night, thinking about it, and it was both sorrow and joy.

Indeed. I was delighted to have seen this film. I've been generally underwhelmed about films I've been watching recently but this one is outstanding.

For the record, I rated this film 8/10. Some of the actors were a bit wooden. I know they were "spooks" but their acting could still be improved upon (IMHO).

Couldn't agree more. Completely outstanding in so many ways. Plus, the acting was out of this world. I was so impressed by Gosling, had no idea he was that good.

I'm kinda pissed at how little recognition this film seems to have gotten.

This movie is gonna haunt me...
