Why didn't it get an OSCAR
Such a great movie with great PERFORMANCE. This is an OSCAR material!
If we stay the course, we are dead! WE ARE ALL DEAD!
It probably did not meet the standards of the jurors of the Academy.

IDK about Oscar but I had completely new view of Adam Sandler after I saw this. I usually can't stand his obnoxious in-your-face characters, but when he plays a dad I love him! His relationship with his daughter in this movie was so touching.
