I'm curious about the various locations where Mystery Woman was filmed. Thanks for any information about this.

It is mostly filmed in Simi Valley, CA. The outside of the bookstore is a storefront in Pasadena, CA. Hope this helps.

Do you know what that beautiful hotel where Samantha goes for tea is? THe white marble lobby is gorgeous.

The interior is the Old Herald Examiner (Hearst Newspaper) lobby in Los Angeles (near the Staples Center). The exterior is the Breakers Hotel in Long Beach off of Ocean Blvd.

MzIndepdt, your mention of Pasadena helped with my curiosity about an obvious goof in an episode of the series that I saw yesterday (perhaps "Mystery Woman: Vision of a Murder"). There was an imposing building that served as the courthouse or municipal building for the Mystery Woman town. In one shot, I saw that they neglected to blur out the engraved name "First Church of Christ, Scientist" over the portico. Searching for the name along with Pasadena from your post found pictures that I'm sure make this the building used in the movies.
