She circles Peter as number 6 at the end, but he really was number 7. She started dating and kissed that other guy before she ever went out on a real date with Peter. So she may have felt like she was manipulating the situation, but her mom predicted it correctly.
shareI definitely think Peter was number 7, not 6, and I was expecting Amy to realize that, but in a way I guess it's good she didn't, since the point is that she's making her own choices now instead of following checklists or her mom's timeline. So the fact that she believes Peter is number 6 and committed to him/married him anyway means she really does love him instead of only being with him *because* he's number 7. ;) So, yay. Silly Amy, though.
