I just noticed that this film is rated R?, I don't get it can someone help, its bearly a PG-13 film!

There's some talk about boobs and some non-graphic violence...yeah, an R is harsh.

It's a PG-13 max for me. Even if we see nipples covered by mud at one point. But I've seen many R rated movies in USA rated only 13+ in Quebec. Too much severe for nothing. There is no gruesome deaths or tons of bloods. Even if Han Yoon-Ji's boobs were not covered by mud, it's not too much. It's hardly adult content.

I notice that it has a R rating in the US for violent and disturbing scenes. I don't know if it is the same cut as in the UK where it is rated 15.

It has a good plot and good photography. I thought that it was a great piece of dark fantasy. It's an absorbing film of superstition. I have rated it 7/10. I haven't seen the other films in the series. They have been rated higher than this one. So I will try them.
