...that Charlie made for Jane's character when she had given her something to make her pass out? Whatever was in the plate looked disgusting.

It was tripe, cow belly. A delicacy in many cultures.

Ohh I see. I hope my comment wasn't offensive - it just looked like some kind of snakelike creature on the plate and scared the heck out of me!
