I loved this movie but for me there was one major flaw; they never said if Deportivo went on to win La Liga that season. Does anyone know if they won it? I'm thinking this was back in the glory days of Roy Makaay and Diego Tristan.

Apparently they have only won it (La Liga) in the 99-00 season which wouldn't tie up with the dates as Ramon died in January 1998 which would have been the 97-98 season. If it was the 97-98 season then they finished 12th...either this is a flaw or Javi was telling fibs.
