Isla Nublar is supposedly 22 square miles in area. I don't believe that that is enough area, to gather enough runoff, to produce a steadily flowing waterfall--maybe a temporary one, during and after a heavy rainfall, but not as a steady feature.
By contrast, Big Island, Hawaii, has a waterfall, but it is 4,000+ square miles in area.
Anyone know of any small islands that have waterfalls?

shareCould be. They certainly exist. This one would probably need to use salt water, as there is no real fresh water. For their fresh water they would probably distill it in a desalination facility, like Aruba does. But they wouldn't waste distilled water for a decoration, so that would be salt water.

I'm more curious why the little brother's matches were still dry after they jumped over the waterfall & into the pond below. And furthermore, I'd like to know why he was carrying matches in the first place??
