Why wasn't anyone scared of the dinosaurs?

I thought that was really odd.

Those kids shouldn't have gone off in the no-trespassing area

Why do dumb azzes hop into pens at the zoo or mess with animals in the wild in real life?

That scene also lost me with the Jimmy Fallon video. Took me out of the movie for a little bit.

reply

Yes, because zoos never use celebrity endorsement. (Debating whether or not you're intelligent enough to discern the sarcasm.)

Seems like an aggressive reply man.

I wasn't on a ride at a zoo, I was watching a movie about dinosaurs and all the sudden Jimmy Fallon shows up and starts doing slapstick comedy in a lab coat. Seemed like a shift in tone, but to each their own. If you liked that part more power to you.

Jurassic World IS a zoo and the film was portraying the kind of things zoos do with their rides.

No zoo has a ride with a video into in which a famous TV comedian does slapstick comedy.

It was a stupid part of the movie. Only a moron would defend it.

You're completely right

Why do dumb asses mess around on the the train tracks and play train dodging?

People kayaking in a river/stream with a herd of Stegosaus just frolicking along with them, was just plain ridiculous.

How many times have you seen people kayaking in a river/stream with elephants and hippos, literally a few feet away?

Come on now....

reply

People do dumb things? You don't say.

Large herbivores kill more people every year, than carnivores do, and they have some of the nastiest dispositions in the animal kingdom.

So yeah...these large plant eating dinos would be totally safe to be around(eye roll).

reply

well african herbivores have a lot to be agressive about: Crocs, Elephants, Rhinos, lions, Zambezi sharks, etc...

reply

Keep in mind, the park within the movie had been operating for 10 years, so I guess people would become used to them by now..

reply

The whole movie was incredible stupid.

So, they're really going to have a ride in a 'Gyrosphere' and let the people inside them control the path? How stupid is that?

The young worker looked like he was about to crap his pants, both when he initially fell into the raptor pen and then when Delta growled at him through the bars after Owen saved him.

Owen seemed pretty scared of the I-rex when he was trapped inside her paddock with her. He, the supervisor and the worker ran like the dickens the second they learned she was still in there. "Go!" *beep*

The supervisor screamed when he saw I-rex eating the worker and cried and whimpered while hiding behind the pickup truck. He sure did seem scared.

The other paddock workers ran like hell when I-rex got loose. I'd call that pretty scared. Masrani, Lowery and Vivian looked very upset back in the control room, too.

Hamada and the ACU team seemed scared of her, too. Hamada tried to run ("It can camouflage!") and screamed his head off when I-rex grabbed him. That the other ACU troopers stood their ground and fought is a testament to their (stupid) bravery. And, again, the people in the control room were visibly distraught at what was happening.

Zach and Gray sure did a lot of screaming during the battle between the I-rex and the Ankylosaurus and when the I-rex tried to swallow their Gyrosphere with them in it...

Owen and Claire looked very afraid while hiding from I-rex by the Jeep. Claire in particular was wincing and shivering.

If all those tourists and park employees running and screaming during the Pteranodon attack weren't scared, I'm a monkey's uncle. Zara in particular seemed plenty terrified during her ordeal.

The InGen soldiers did lots of terrified screaming during the raptor attack, especially the guy who warned Claire and left the bloody handprint on the window.

Boy, Hoskins sure was afraid of Delta. Especially when she ate his hand.

Gray did a lot of terrified crying when I-rex snagged his fanny pack with her claw and started dragging him over.

"Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!" Claire screams at the top of her lungs, clearly afraid for Owen and her nephews.

So, where are these un-afraid people you spoke of?

I mean, really, how many times will you look under Jabba's manboobs?

l always considered that more a 'tribute' to 'Aliens' than anything else.
