Worst movie i ever saw

I love low budget horrors especially zombie flicks but this was the worst movie i ever saw and i've seen some pretty bad movies.

i am only writing as a warning even if you are a fan of the genre avoid this movie like you would avoid a horde of brain eating zombies

the idea was terrible the acting shocking with the leads accent slipping all the way through the movie and frankly the SFX could have been created by a child with some tomato sauce and some play doh.

AVOID!!!!

I agree, How does this movie have such a high marking? It laked in every way. I've never seen a zombie movie so bad.

"leads accent slipping all the way through the movie"

Well the lead character was an Italian national who was visiting Ireland. I'm Irish by the way.

OMG...This was the worst film ever...!!!! OMFG

You guys clearly don't have a clue. If you think this is a bad zombie film check out the following:

Resident Evil
Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Blood of the Zombie
Zombie Lake
Zombie Chronicles.

After that you'll probably apologise for slagging this film off.

I wouldn't say it's the best film in the genre i've ever seen. It's certainly no Zombie Flesh Eaters, The Beyond or Dawn of the Dead, but at least it's a proper horror film and done with some degree of style and with plenty of gore.

I agree on the gore thing as well as on your sh.itlist. Nevertheless, "Dead Meat" still sucked big time. Low budget - ok, no problem here if the atmosphere is thrilling, "amateur" actors - ok, if they apply themselves and show at least some talent, newcomer directors - great! The genre could use some fresh blood. But a bunch of kids with hardly anything to say walking in Romeros footsteps is more than a zombie-fan could possibly bare!! Did the crew just want to credit him politely (e.g. the whole construction of the beginning, the screwdriver-to-ear-kill, the shovel-to-jaws-kill, the severing of that old fart's arm, to name just a few) or is that a sign of missing inspiration? Why not come up with something original in the first place? In sum: bad acting, no story whatsoever (the whole plot seems to be built around the killings as opposed to setting the framework for them, which I would have preferred), horrible lighting and confusing composition. With pretty damn good SFX and makeup and everything else sucking, I have a feeling that this movie has only been made to serve as a platform for showing off with guts 'n gore. That's all fine and good, but not sufficient if it wants to be zombie flick that a fan can appreciate.

reply

I have to agree. I wasn't overly keen on this movie, but I don't feel it was nearly as bad as some other people feel (note: "feel" - it's all subjective!).

There are *lots* of movies a heck of a lot worse than this! The last two on radioactive_ape1002's list are real stinkers, and I can also add: Return of the Living Dead II. With a bodycount of 0 and some of the stinkiest acting, story, and makeup to insult my screen, the only thing that impressed me about this movie is that it would cost me more in postage than I would make from selling my copy.

She's Spanish, isn't she.

I disagree. The budget isn't the best, but that doesn't really matter, as long as it has a few scares, lots of gore, good-looking zombies, good acting and a realistic plot then the movie just CANNOT be bad!

What the *beep* is wrong with you people? Don't you guys have anything better to do than just complain about a great zombiemovie like this? Sure, everybody thinks different, but i just wonder, how the *beep* can you not like this movie?
It has everything a good zombie movie should have, what is the problem?
This is made by a true fan of the genre and the movie itself is pretty much a tribute to the old cult classic such as Night of the living dead, Bad taste, Evil dead...

And by the way Hoppz, tomato sauce? Play doh? Do you mean that the blood looks like tomato sauce?
This movie has probably the best-looking blood ever seen in a zombie movie before!
And the play doh... Now where the *beep* did you spot play doh? In which specific scene did you see some *beep* play doh?!
If you're gonna predict how bad you think this movie is, do it with style.
