Redicilous

Watched this thing last night. It was actually included in a budget-type horror DVD box-set (Scandinavian release) I purchased some years ago, just hadn't got around watching it until now. The front cover proudly states "9 WEEK BOX-OFFICE HIT" (the Swedish box-office, that is). Seriously, I don't even remember this being shown in theaters, even less being a box-office hit!
And the movie itself was total crap. Though the acting from the main characters was alright, the characters' behavior was completely irrational, which means the script sucks.
Yes, the accents were difficult to understand, but luckily there were subtitles available on the release I got.
I understand this was suppose to be more of a comedy than pure horror, but the cheesy effects and amateurish editing didn't do it for me. The whole film actually kind of reminded me of a student film.
I don't know if it's just me, but all these modern horror movies that were created by people who are horror fans themselves just aren't very good. All shot on digital video and on minimal budget.
Well, I'm glad I didn't spend much money on it at least.
