Although the plot is unoriginal*cough*LoTR*cough*, it was still a great movie, the animation was very nice, the voices were good, and it was thrilling.
I liked it alot I just started collecting Bionicle toys to add to my action figure collection.

NO - Get real! The standard of animation was abysmally bad, the plot was the usual mumbo-jumbo nonsence that feature on cable cartoon channels, and the whole thing was a waste of 72 minutes of anyone's life. Those associated with this drivel should hang their heads in shame that they possibly prevented more talented film makers get their projects funded and distributed. If there's any justice in the world then plans for a sequel should be buried so deep in development hell that it never see's the light of day.

72 minutes wasted?! Since I saw that movie and bought the DVD, it has been the BESET hours of my life. And if I know the world know, you will most likely say I am a sad person, which I am, but not for this reason!!
To the point, I think this is one of the best movies ever!

Wait--why did that one guy rip on the moviemakers for making up words? That's part of the whole mythos. All those made up words are like a "supplementarry language" for the BIONICLE storyline. I mean, you didn't rip on LOTR because the made up the word "Nazgul" or "Uruk-Hai" or anything like that. And I think that for this movie to be one of those hour-long commercials, they would have to make the underlying theme to be collecting stuff, which this one doesn't do, it's about seeking out an entity, not say seeking out and collecting many elements or items, like in one of those Pokemon movies or others of that ilk.
sharehey, it's a KID'S movie. like the first batman movie. remember how everyone hated it and were completely OBLIVIOUS to the fact that it's actually supposed to be a movie that was targeted at the younger audience. well this is for KIDS. Sure the movie isn''t the best, but the animation is some of the better quality around. Although the story needs some tweaking, the overall bionicle story is awesome.
