Not to be mean or anything but it was brought back a while ago....and it was cancelled awhile ago too. But here is the whole story:

Back in late June of 2003, The New TNN premiered three adult animated cartoons: Ren and Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon, gary the Rat, and Stripperella. Despite that they were all good they obly lasted a about a month and a half in even before the block was removed from schedual.

Many months later Stripperella returned airing a little later than before. It was still on the same channel, though at this time TNN had become Spike TV. However the show suffered from an animation change not for the better. It still looked good but Stripperella's costume was different, colors were brighter, and it looked a little more cartoony. The intro was changed to suite the new look of the title character. The show itself took in little change. It wasn't dirtier, though arrguably it bacame a little dumber. The show was always laugh out load dumb in a good way but it became a little more "out-there" based on stuff like drills coming out of Stripperella's nipples and a "were-beaver" being the antagonist in the last episode of the series. Unlike some (including myself) thought, these episodes were part of the first season (I assumed it was season 2 because of the long hiatus and the animation change) as they are on the DVD of Season One. The DVD has the re-animated picture of Stripperella on it and the one-minute intro is cut to 30-seconds due to the fact that Paramount is not only so cheap that they can't include ANY extras, but they can't keep the awesome Kid Rock intro song and they couldn't recond *new* song longer than therty-seconds. Retards.

Not long after the DVD release Stripperella was announced as cancelled. Shame as it is was a really funny show despite the negative animation change. I would like to see the show on Adult Swim eventually so the original intro song will be there (with the extra 30-secs) and there will be a possiblity that it would gain enough of a cult audiance it be back for another season or two.
