What was up with the animation change?

The first few episodes of the series (about half of it I think), "Stripperella" had a very good animation style. But later in the series the animation style changed. Stripperells's costume, hair, and facial appearence changed too. But colors changed too as they were a lot brighter. What was the point in this? The show visually was great as it was and then the changed to to look more cartoony. The dark atmosphere was great and Stripperella's appearence was MUCH better before the change. I wasn't sure if this had anything to do with the fact that the show seemed to have gotton sillier during the change. I mean the show was silly to begin with which is what made it awesome but it seemed to have a few more gags here and there. It might just seem that way from the style but I don't have the DVD so I don't know.Well in short, does anyone know why the animation changed from dark and badass to colorful and cartoony (more-so)?

Oh, and on Youtube I herd the song they replaced the Kid Rock intro with. Whats up with that? The Kid Rock intro was awesome, and the new one is cool too but it's not the same.

Any responses or comments would be appreciated.

I'm with you on the unnecessary changes.
It was too bright, to over-animated in the second go-around. I liked when Stripperella's eyes were two white blanks behind her mask. That little detail, the noirish style, it was all like watching an X-rated Batman: The Animated Series. It was GREAT!

Seeing these competing styles on a DVD is pretty jarring. Have disk 2 coming from Netflix soon. Will see how bad the second round of episodes are.
