Such an iconic scene *MAJOR SPOILERS*

My favourite scene in the movie and also one of my favourite scenes in any movie is the scene between Sam and Hau when Sam dares Hau to kill him. It's beautifully shot, perfectly edited with the music and acted with so much energy.
The moment when the shot goes off is heart-stopping. Yan, Ming and Wong's reactions are so moving and when you see that Sam wasn't actually the one who had been shot it seems like time has stopped for the characters. The reveal of Hau being shot in the head is the most iconic part, in my opinion, as his hand drops his gun and he falls back into Yan's arms.
I absolutely LOVE how he doesn't die instantly. The next part had me holding back tears as Hau discovers Yan's wire in his jacket. It's like he can't process it as there's a bullet in his head so he just buries his head into Yan's arms as Yan grabs him as tight as he can and cradles him like a baby. His face as he's trying to battle the shock of his brother's betrayel and his own consciousness is haunting and, at the same time, heartbreaking.
Sam opens his eyes and turns around to see the body of the man he was convinced was going to kill him slowly fade away, then he does...
It is an amazing scene and an amzing movie.
Well, I just thought I'd share my feelings with you guys. 8)
Thanks.

I know. Which is more haunting, your last breath or your half-brother who was selling you out the whole time. Too bad, the American version never had anything remotely near this.
