yeah how did Lau get Ngais guys to kill Mary? i thought he was working for Sam, wouldnt the only gangsters he know be part of Sams gang?

Whether or not Ngai knew Lau was a mole, all Lau had to do was make an anonymous call. "Mr. Ngai, I hear you're looking for Mary." Even without using Sam's connections, it wouldn't be hard to find a contact to a family that prominent.
