User Ratings mistake
There is a big mistake in the ratings for this movie, if you see by yourself, just to give an example, the 80.4% has voted 10.
shareI know that you posted this like a year ago, but I figured I'd respond anyway. IMDB provides average user scores that have been weighted somehow, although they refuse to explain just how the score is weighted.
shareI used to be a top 1000 voter and have been on the boards since 20 Century. They weight all approx.8million votes against each other.
E.g. If all the votes averaged a 5 then the vote for one film will be as it is. If all votes for all films averaged more than 5, say 7, then the vote for say one film which had a score say at 6 would be weighted slightly and brought down (as the average voter scores high).
BTW The average vote for any film on IMDB, has aways been around 6.7 mine at 2200 films is about 6.825 which is high as I just what films which have been in festivals or won awards.
