Shipyard question

I am on the "abandoned shipyard" level and can't find my way down into the shipyard. I get through the opening grass field and into the camp and have killed everybody except the laser aimed guns. I can't find the entrance to get down into the submarine shipyard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
