My thoughts about the Splinter Cell Series + rumors about the next game!

I'd like to start off by saying that I've beaten all four of the Splinter Cell games for Playstation 2 and I also recently beat Splinter Cell: Essentials for PSP (Playstation Portable). My favorite Splinter Cell game is the third one (Chaos Theory). The gameplay, the feel, the story, the characters, and the over-all atmosphere of Chaos Theory seems like everything that everyone loves about Splinter Cell was put into this particular game.

Sure, Double-Agent and all other Splinter Cell games following Chaos Theory are going to be techinically "better", but Chaos Theory has it right. While Double Agent was yet another great instalment in the series, it was a bit depressing. One of the questions I had for everyone was "where is Anna Grimsdottir in Double Agent?" Why wasn't she or William Redding in Double Agent?

Just talking about the possibility of a Splinter Cell movie really quick, I think they should make a computer animated Splinter Cell movie simular to the video clips they have in between missions rather than one with "real people". And obviously Michael Ironside would be the voice of Sam Fisher. I just wouldn't seem right someone on the screen playing as Sam but not really sounding like him.

SPLINTER CELL: CONVICTION

I know that Splinter Cell: Double Agent just came out, but has anybody heard anything about the new Splinter Cell game in the works? I heard something about a Ubisoft leak that revealed Splinter Cell: Conviction may be the name of the next installment in the series. Very little is known about the next game, but it is believed that "Conviction" will be released exclusivley for XBox 360 and Games for Windows platforms (unfortunatley) and that the name "Conviction" may only be the working title for the game. It will probably be released some time in 2007 or 2008.

Anyway, Splinter Cell lovers, those are some of my thoughts and questions. I'd love to hear any comments or any questions that you think I may be able to answer since I've beaten every single Splinter Cell game many times.
