Glitch in Jerusalem

I recently purchased Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow for Nintendo Gamecube and have come across a glitch that I am unable to solve. During the Jerusalem level in the game, after Sam Fisher collects a bacteriological sample, it is impossible to enter an elevator needed to complete the level. Sam is unable to run inside of the elevator, and it seems as though an invisible wall is preventing him from getting inside. However, projectiles such as grenades are able to enter the elevator. I would appreciate advice on this matter as to how I can enter the elevator so I can continue the game.
