Fisher's age

Just how old is Sam Fisher supposed to be exactly?

I mean, looking at him, I'd say he was in his late 30's/early 40's. Then again, he has a grown up daughter and he fought in the Gulf War, so wouldnt be a bit older?

Anyone have any idea about this?
