Is Assassin Hwang from Soulblade???

His moves are identical, so is his weapon! He even does the 'Six Kick KO' grab that Hwang did in Soulblade which kicks ass!!! Anybody know?

I read somewhere that Beserker fights similar to Rock (who was in the last game) and since Lizardman is an unlockable in this, I suppose it may be Hwang

reply

Absolutely, even his victory stances are rather similar

It's possible, but I think that they just made characters who are similar, sort of like Ryu and Ken of the Street Fighter series.

...but just incase you're still around the answer is "no". Assasin is not Hwang, they (there are actually several "Assasins") just have recycled move sets - the same goes for Berserker(sp?) they aren't Rock, and are again supposed to be more than one person. Lastly Lizardman is just a Lizardman (or possibly several again) not the Lizardman.

The orgins of the "characters" have been explained by Namco in books and mangas, but is easily accesable in Soul Calibur's "Wikia" (not "Wiki").
