Does anyone know how to select/determine the character voice that shouts out the game's name at the title screen?

I believe it's the last person to have won a fight, before the title reappears.

That's crazy...I'll have to try that out. Hopefully I brought my copy with me up to college.

I'm pretty sure I have heard Voldo "breathe" over the title - He certainly does in SCIII anyway.

I was really hoping someone else had come across this. I'm not so sure about it being the last person to win. I remember the first time it happened to my friend and me, we about freaked out because the voice-over had never ever changed to anyone before. Then, out nowhere we hear Nightmare announce, "Soulcalibur...Two!" We thought maybe it was some combination of idly pressing the buttons trying to skip over everything, but it only every did it two or three other times, and I still have no idea what we did.
