It's some pre-pubescent idea of funny, probably leftover from when you could directly recommend titles. I think IMDB has stopped taking direct recommendations, since people looking at Winnie the Pooh were getting recommendations like "Caligula."
If you go to the recommendation page you can vote out the ones that don't fit, most notably at this time, Braveheart and Indiana Jones.
