This GAME has nothing to do with the movie

It says that Johnny Depp plays Captain Jack Sparrow.. but where is he in the game? This is an XBOX game. Its plot and characters have nothing to do with the movie. It was in production for years as a PC game and Disney just bought the rights because it was near completion closer to the release theatrically of "Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl"

Notice I said "...CLOSE to completion.."

So is this an IMDB mistake, because these actors voices, as far as I can tell, as well as their characters, are not featured in this game.

I still haven't finished the whole game yet (PC version) but I was surprised to read about this aswell. Narration is indeed done by Keira Knightley, this is also confirmed by the manual. As for Jack Sparrow (johnny Depp) however, does he even appear in the game??

I heven't noticed. The reason because this game has nothing to do with the movie is that the project started as Seadogs 2, sequel to Seadogs. The maker of the game (Akella) decided that it would boost the sales if it would be tied with a big Hollywood movie so they changed the name a few months before (premature) release as well as making a plot change and including skeleton pirates. This game is best played if you consider it Seadogs 2 and not PotC.

I finished the game a long time ago and indeed, there is no Captain Jack Sparrow in the game. A simple mistake made by imdb.

Still the games great....looking forward to ages of pirates the sequal apparently looks mighty good also :D

He IS in the game but it is in a mod designed, you have to have Version 11 and 12 to make him appear.

He isnt in the game. A mod is not the game, it's a modification, hence the name.

And only Keira Knightly and the Black Pearl/Aztec Coins relate this to the movie. Nothing else.

But yeah, damn good game. Shame there's no POTC RPG where its got the POTC movie characters/plots etc, just action games :/
