About six months later, the U.S. has invaded Afghanistan. The Taliban no longer have control over Kabul. Navy SEAL's come to rescue the girl from that disgusting old mullah. The SEAL's take him at gunpoint and let the wives have a shot at him in his legs and feet. Then the girl shoots him in the genitals. They all set fire to him. Then the SEAL's evacuate the wives, rescue the girls mother and grandmother, send them to Camp Phoenix or Bagram in safe keeping. Let the girls mother get her nursing license there, have them all learn English and a trade, then after several months, send them to America and live together in peace.

Real Life does not have pat happy endings like that and it would diminish the impact of the first movie.

Yes, I know. But it would have been SO satisfying and a Chuck Norris or Arnold Schwarzeneggar type to rescue them. Have the same original cast with this in the sequel combined with big named American stars.

Of course in real life, the girl would be about 26-27, but look like she's in her 40's by American standards, have 3-5 kids and the mullah in his 50's, but look like he's 90. And with the Taliban takeover, he just lost his power and lived like a regular citizen, at least by Afghan standards. He was too old to be in the mountains hiding out.
