This movie is bad voodoo...

The subject and the technologie in this movie remind me of a bad midage myth and serve only small minded creatures. this hole thing may have worked in a scifi movie somewhere far in the future but to place the story in todays world was a real bad decision. love will heal the world... oh by the way did i forget to mention a 10.000 dolloar fee and a privat jet. Alone this part of the story gives me ther creeps.

Well sure I did! First of all if you don't have money forget it.. your child will suffer in darkness for the rest of its life... thanx for that message! Then second this movie was working with some 10 cables attached to the hair of the actors... but there I feel a little sorry for the technologie displayed in this movie.. couldn't they come up with something more original... the brain is much more complicated and different with each person... the cell with jLo had more thought on that then this hole movie... but the main problem I had with this movie was that it was playing with the hopes of people. There are people that really have a child with braindamage and that will stay this way the rest of there mortal live... If I wanted to make a movie about this theme I would do my homework on braindamage and maybe even try to respect the theme and educated the people a little alongside with my little script.

I actually like the base idea of the movie ... but they missed to really take it deep.
Nobody really knows how much a person in a wakecoma really still feels and sees so this movie could of taken up the imaginary perception of the trapped child more seriously and the REAL problems parent have with such a situation.

Look at the spanish movie "Habla con ella" (http://imdb.com/title/tt0287467) for a good example about this theme!
Then look at "Johnny got his gun" (http://imdb.com/title/tt0067277/) for a movie about somebody being trapped in his skull..just look at the dreamworld he builds himself to escape the darkness.

Just a little bit more info for you.....This movie is based on the New York # 1 Best Seller Book also called THE LAZARUS CHILD by Robert Mawson. This movie is taken from the story line and details written in that book. The book was amazing and im sure the movie is going to be just as fantastic. Just so you know someoone didnt decide to just make up this movie.....

I think you have completely missed the point here, and I guess it wasn't written for those with doubts on whether it is logically possible or not. But nevertheless it got you hooked up on a bad feeling - at least that is something, hope you can see it is not nothing?

The real point of this movie, is how each of us strugle to forgive ourselves in the events of the past, and how we help each other to forgive. It's a clear red line through the movie from start to end.

The doctors are looking for answers while helping their patients, while patients are recovering with the emotional drive of a doctor offering her gifts.

Therapy, medical treatment all cost money. In fact therapy costs quite a lot of money too, most of these sort of practices are not funded by a world focused on science and provable results. How can you possible prove, how you feel in the first place?

While your energy is drived by your doubts, don't forget who seeded these doubts in your mind. Can doctors all be trusted 100%? Can news bulletins be trusted? The individuals in this world, feeding your experience, WHAT is their blind spots? YOU don't know because THEY don't know. these kinda news are not posted on bulletins you see - you have to figure that out for yourself.

No doctors can explain why we live anyway, why would you trust anyone to tell whether they are not? Who do you trust, the person driven by guilt or the one driven by passion? What is the story behind the passion and needs of each of us?

To fully understand the realm in a coma, is a mystery only answered by those experiencing them. Since noone has any clue of what makes us "tick" anyway, I suggest you give this bad voodoo a chance to open your own heart towards your own reality rather than focusing on action and events describing a physical manifestation of what is most of all going on within us.

This movies is begging for you to connect to your own reality, your own way of experiencing events and your awareness of yourself. If you miss this chance, you'll probably stay bored for quite a few movies ahead of you.
