UK Release?
Hi, I was wondering whether this film as actually been released yet as I can not find it anywhere. Place online say it was in post-production back in 2003 but give no indication as to a realease.
Your help in this matter would be great.

Oh right cool. I've managed to see the film now and it's available in Sweden in two days time and there are places online that will import it for about €26. I was thinking of importing it but if it's coming out in February, then I might as well just wait.

It's based in America. I have a copy of it now. A friend shiped it over from Greece to me. It's really good.

The film is based in England and Canada. The family are British but go to Canada to get treatment for the little girl. In the book though, I think they go to America.

After seeing the film about 5 or 6 times now, I am 125% certain it is set in America. There is a line in the film where Andy Garcia says "I've been in America for 8 years now, when will you people let me in?", and if memory serves me well, I beleive there is reference in the film of them being from Battle Creek Michigan.
Although, funny little goof, the scene where you see Franky get run over, every car in that scene has a new UK 02 licence plate.
Are you sure? I thought the clinic was based in British Columbia with Elizabeth Chase and her family originating from America. And the scenery looks Canadian to me (plus, with the low budget, setting the film in Canada is cheaper). My friend has a copy so I'll have to look this one up.

It was filmed in both England and Canada. I know that for a fact as my brother Ciaran Odriscoll starred in the film..However he has recieved no informmation on when it will be released.
shareYeah was filmed in a place called Theale, nr Reading, which is right next to where I work & my local- The Bull Inn- is on the high street so will be very interested to see the film when it come out.
Is there any more news on this for either a Cinema or DVD UK release?

No it's not available in the UK yet which is a pity. A few of my friends want copies of it (proper copies, not copied copies). I wouldn't mind an english copy of it my self, mine being a Greek copy of it.
shareMy brother's agent told him the film has been released in Sweeden..There doesnt seem 2 b any rush to release it in the Uk or Ireland as of yet but ill keep u posted.Im sure if u find some Sweedish site u can purchase an Englisg copy from there
shareRather than buying a foreign version of the film, you might want to wait for the final version that will be released in theaters this fall. It is significantly improved from the early version released in Greece and Sweden.
