What does Bob Dylan think of this film?

Does anyone know?

This was the only film he gave his approval on and he's had many offers.

The only reason (according to an interview) that he agreed to it was because it was unconventional and different than just a bio-pic.

Also, the title - I'm Not There - is the name of a song Dylan wrote and recorded during his recovery from his motorcycle accident, when he wrote The Basement Tapes LP (the main inspiration for Billy's section). I'm Not There circulated ONLY in bootleg form until Dylan authorized the cut used on the soundtrack for this film. That's a pretty big hint right there that it has his stamp of approval.

What did you think of sonic youths version of that jam? Also, good info, didn't know that or remember it from the interview.

He thought the movie was alright and that the actors in it were incredible. It's all in the September issue of Rolling Stone, 2012. One of the best interviews of his in my opinion.
