Charlotte Gainsbourg is... Patti Smith

This is what I would like to see in the future. Can anyone tell me why she hasn't starred in a biopic of her own as Patti Smith, considering her resemblance to her, and the fact that Patti Smith deserves a movie?

Let me know if this is a stupid post, because I have a feeling in the back of my mind this whole thing is.

Just watched "I'm Not There" and had exactly the same thought the moment she came on screen.

I suppose the only issue maybe Patty Smith's very distinctive voice. I've never seen Charlotte Gainsbourg effectively lose her French accent but who knows.

Either way, in no means a stupid post on your part.
