I'm bumping this because I want to know too. :p
I wonder if Bob has even seen it?

reply

I've heard, he saw it and liked it.
Could be just promo trick.. could be true..

He gave permission for the music, and I think he has complete control over his own songs, and if he was really unhappy how it was going he would have pulled permisssion for the music.

I am sure he was not 100% thrilled with all of it, but he had to know if the film was going to reflect anything more than just bits and pieces of his career some parts of it weren't going to be completely positive.

This assumption is what I'm almost sure is the truth. We do know Bob Dylan, to this day, is still saying people don't understand him, and he still hates being defined or analyzed. I can relate.

"Yeah, I thought it was all right. Do you think that the director was worried that people would understand it or not? I don't think he cared one bit. I just think he wanted to make a good movie. I thought it looked good, and those actors were incredible." -Bob Dylan (Rolling Stone 9/27/12)
