In the beginning of the film tommy is walking around the old neighborhood in queens and approaches what looks like the projects and says "this is one of our old hangouts"...which he refers to as "barneycroft or barleycroft" but I googled both and can't figure out what he said...I would like to see this place but can't make out the name...does anyone know what he called it or where this place is...if it was there in the early 2000's I assume that it's still there now.

It's not the projects, just middle class apartment buildings in central Queens. It's called Thorneycroft and there is a mural of the Ramones there now.
