wish I would of liked it

Previews looked good.... I also dont understand the voice of nancy that goes from regular to the voice of someone who is deaf

reply

I thought the voice changed to show that... after death, she wasn't deaf anymore.

I thought it seemed different when she had ran into him in front of the bar i think it was, but inside she sounded like it again.

But you know what, that is a really good thought. I didnt even think of that, your probably right!

It seemed to be a choice the director made to make the narration flow better. It may have been difficult to have the voice of the narrator be garbled by a voice affected from deafness. Just my opinion. It could also be an attempt at symbolism. That she was free from mortal disabilities in death. Or perhaps that was the way Andrew heard her speak all along, with no notice of her deafness. Since he knew her from birth he may never have heard her the way other people heard her. Also, being a psychopath he may never really have been aware of her unique way of speaking since psychopaths are incapable of empathy. He heard her speak just like he and everyone else he knew did. Just a thought. Clearly whatever the director was attempting wasn't exactly successful or nobody would be asking haha.

Also, just a small note and I really don't mean to be a nit picky jerk, but to the OP, it's "would have" not "would of". I would want someone to correct me. Totally don't mean to be mean or anything.

I think it is because multiple people played her in the course of her life.
